According to the courts law in the Emirates; Civil courts deal with cases related to the financial rights of individuals and legal entities such as government departments, companies, and institutions. Civil courts handle cases relating to disputes over the validity, enforcement, annulment or termination of contracts, intellectual property, land and real estate loans.
The full circuit of the Court of First Instance is responsible for hearing cases with a value of more than AED 100,000, while cases of lesser value are heard in the minor circuit.
